Max keeping the local blackbird and pigeon population on their toes and inspecting the area (hole in fence where the 3 x sticks are stood up against the fence) where the hedgehog comes in to the garden at night, sometimes a fox and on rare occasions a badger....

I have the 3 sticks stood up against the fence to tell me who has visited in the night, the hedgehog always just moves the stick on the right and if the fox or badger has visited they will all be knocked over.....this is useful information because if the fox or badger has visited I can scan the garden for fox or badger poo before my dog has a chance to roll in it....!
