Here is a great comment from wildlife photographer Bruno D'Amicis about recent scandal involving photographs of 'wild' wolves in photo competitions. For me it also sums up the problem that I see the public has with comprehending what real wolves look like...

He also quotes Adolph Murie, author of the first real study on wolves published in 1944:

"One does not need to see a wolf to benefit from its presence"
